How a clinic can write fairly about other clinics’ dentists, and the limits we set ourselves.

Medical statements are checked against NHS, GOV.UK or Turkish official sources and reviewed by Dt. Hüseyin Yavuz Özbek (TDB 49105). We never invent reviews, quotes, patients or statistics, and we mark every page with the date it was last checked.
Who writes
Pages are written by the Precious Dental editorial team, the staff at our clinic who answer UK patients every day, and medically reviewed by Dt. Hüseyin Yavuz Özbek, our implant surgeon. We do not use outside writers, and we do not put made-up author names on articles. See the editorial team.
Where facts come from
- About other dentists: only what their own clinic publishes on its website, linked from every listing and profile, with the date we read it.
- About clinics: the Ministry of Health’s HealthTürkiye portal for authorisation numbers, and Google for review counts.
- About treatment and health: the NHS, GOV.UK, the Oral Health Foundation, the Turkish Dental Association and the Turkish Ministry of Health.
- About Precious Dental: our own records and website. Prices, guarantees and package details are the ones we publish on dentprecious.com.
What we never do
- Invent or edit reviews, quotes, ratings, patients, case stories or statistics.
- Use photos of patients, or AI-generated photos of teeth, results or dentists.
- Describe a dentist as a specialist unless their clinic gives a specialist title.
- Promise results. Every mouth is different, and we say so.
Medical review
Before an article is published, Dt. Hüseyin Yavuz Özbek reads it for clinical accuracy: that it describes treatment correctly, gives fair risks, and does not overpromise. His name, with the date, appears at the top of every reviewed page. He qualified at Aydın Adnan Menderes University, Faculty of Dentistry in 2019 and is registered with the Turkish Dental Association, number 49105.
Our conflict of interest
We are a clinic writing about our competitors. We handle that by putting our own dentists first openly, by keeping every claim about others to what they publish themselves, and by letting anyone correct us. Read the advertising disclosure.
Plain English
Most of our readers are over 50 and many have never had treatment abroad. We write in short sentences, explain every dental word the first time we use it, and use large text. If something is unclear, tell us.
Updates
Dentist listings were last read on 22 October 2026. We re-read the clinic pages before each update of the site, and articles show the month they were last reviewed. Mistakes are fixed as described in our corrections policy.
