Are dentists in Antalya properly qualified?
Every dentist in Turkey has a five-year dental degree and must register with the Turkish Dental Association. Specialists have extra training. Ask any dentist for their registration number and where they qualified.
What do Dt., Dr. and Uzm. Dt. mean?
Dt. is a qualified dentist. Uzm. Dt. is a specialist. On English websites, “Dr.” is often used for every dentist and does not mean a specialist. See our page on Turkish dentist titles.
Do Antalya dentists speak English?
Many do, and clinics that treat UK patients usually have English-speaking coordinators. Ask whether the dentist who treats you speaks English, or whether someone will translate in the room.
Will I see the same dentist on both trips?
Ask before you book and get the dentist’s name in your written plan. Continuity matters most for implants, where the same dentist should check the healing they started.
Can I meet my dentist before I book?
