Search for “best dentist in Antalya” and you mostly find clinics. That is understandable, because clinics advertise and dentists rarely do. But when you lie back in the chair, it is a person who decides where an implant goes or how much of a tooth is filed down for a veneer. So this article answers the question as asked: who are the best dentists, by name?
Our answer, and why we give it
We are Precious Dental, a clinic in Antalya, and we publish this guide. Our top picks are our own three dentists. We say that at the top of every page because you should know it before you read anything we write.

Best for what?
“Best” only means something when you add “at what”. A full-arch implant case involves surgery, bone, bite and a set of teeth that must be cleaned for decades. A smile makeover involves shade, shape, gum line and how much natural tooth to keep. Some dentists are excellent at both; many focus on one. So our lists are split by the work dentists do.
How the rest of the list is ordered
After our picks, every dentist is placed by five checks on what their own clinic publishes about them: what they do, where they qualified, when (or how many years’ experience), whether they have their own profile page, and whether a registration number is published. Specialists come first in a tie, then dentists at clinics with more Google reviews.
These checks do not measure skill. Nothing published online can. They measure something you can use: how easy the clinic makes it for you to know who will treat you. A dentist with five published facts is a dentist you can check before you fly. Read how we choose.
What stands out among Antalya’s dentists
Reading 13 clinics’ team pages side by side, a few patterns appear.
- Specialists are rarer than websites suggest. “Dr.” is used for almost everyone in English. The Turkish specialist title, Uzm. Dt., appears much less often. See titles explained.
- Some clinics split implant work. One dentist places the implants and another makes the teeth. That is not a problem, but you should know both names.
- Many clinics name dentists without saying what they do. About a third of the dentists in our list have no published role at all.
- Registration numbers are rarely published. Only a handful of dentists in Antalya publish their Turkish Dental Association or Ministry registration numbers. Dt. Hüseyin Yavuz Özbek is one.
How to find your own best dentist
- Name your treatment. If you are not sure, send an X-ray to two or three dentists and compare.
- Pick three dentists from the role list for that treatment. Read how to shortlist three.
- Check each one: registration, training, experience with your treatment.
- Meet them by video. Use our 12 questions.
- Get a written plan that names who will treat you at each stage.
What “best” should not mean
It should not mean cheapest, fastest or most teeth. The best dentist for you may suggest less treatment than another, keep teeth another would remove, or tell you to treat your gums first. It should not mean the dentist with the most Instagram followers either. Ask to see their own cases and read reviews that name them. Read judging a dentist’s own work.
A note on reviews
Google and Trustpilot reviews are usually about clinics, not dentists. When a review names the dentist, it is worth more. Read the low ones first and notice how the clinic replies. Precious Dental is rated “Excellent” on Trustpilot from 376 reviews; read them at trustpilot.com.
Our view, in one line
Choose a dentist you can check, who explains things clearly, who does your treatment often, and who will be there on both trips. We think our three dentists meet that standard, and we would be glad to show you why.
What we looked at, clinic by clinic
We started with the clinics in our sister guide, bestdentistsinantalya.com, and read each clinic’s own team pages. We noted every dentist named, the title the clinic used, the role it gave, and whether it published a dental school, a year, a profile page and a registration number. Where a clinic named doctors from several cities on one page, or its team page would not open, we left it out and say so on the A–Z page. All of this was read on 22 October 2026.
Why we do not score skill
It would be easy to give every dentist a mark out of 100. It would also be made up. Nobody outside a clinic can measure a dentist’s skill from a website. What we can do honestly is show what each clinic publishes and let you take it from there. Our top picks are a different matter: they are our own dentists, we know their work, and we tell you plainly that we are choosing them.
Changes through 2026
Dentists move between clinics, and clinics update their websites. We re-read the team pages when we update the guide, and any dentist or clinic can ask us to correct their listing. If you notice something out of date, please tell us through the corrections page.
Using this guide with your own research
Treat our lists as a starting point. Add your own checks: reviews that name the dentist, a video call, a written plan, and if you like, a UK dentist’s view of your X-ray. The best dentist for you is the one who passes your checks, not only ours.
A quick checklist for any dentist you consider
- Named on the clinic’s website, with a role.
- Registration number available on request.
- Training relevant to your treatment.
- Will meet you by video before you book.
- Named in your written plan.
Where to go next
If you already know your treatment, open the matching list and pick three names. If you do not, start with Antalya’s specialists: who to see for what, then questions to ask yourself.
